CH'i - Respiro Cosmico

The sculpture is an oriental dragon, the bearer of positivity and wisdom, constructed of wire mesh and covered with some 11,000 scales, made from the banners of previous works. The global scenario of increasingly impetuous and evident migration flows makes Ch'i expression of the flow of the Net through the hashtag #migrants, translated into all languages. The interactive relational sculpture translates the bits into atoms: the dragon's breath, formalized through the brightness of the internal LEDs and the sound of the speaker, changes in intensity, increasing or slowing down according to the sharing of the hashtag, and creating, in this way, a relational anthropological flow. Also exhibited for Maker Faire 2016.
